the deluxe room was a joke. the spa tub leaked and brought in who knows what, so, no thanks. not only that, but the view advertised was a chicken coop, really? i thought woudl ve been comped for such inconvienience but no special treatment here after all. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Consider asking for fresh apple picking. it's a delightful experience that gives a unique connection to the property and its surroundings.

The Deluxe King Room offered beautiful mountain views, but the decor felt a bit outdated. Enjoyed archery on-site as well.

The location features a serene orchard with stunning views of the San Juans, creating a relaxing atmosphere for a getaway. The private patio in the Fireside Cottage offers a great spot to enjoy breakfast with a lovely view of a pond.

Some rooms, like the Deluxe King Room, are dated, with issues like low lighting making reading difficult. Amenities also fall short. a spa tub malfunctioned with leaks, and visibility from the garden window was obstructed by an inconvenient position.

This wasn’t what I expected – Good or Bad?

The romantic cottage we upgraded to had lush grounds with streams and friendly chickens, enhancing our peaceful stay. The breakfast, featuring homemade quiche and divine apple compote, was a treat!

Despite the beauty, outdated amenities detracted from the experience, and the communication regarding charges for minor issues felt unwelcoming. Also, the absence of air conditioning made the room quite uncomfortable.

The location is peaceful and offers a stunning view of the landscaped yard and mountains. breakfast was delicious and made fresh with local ingredients. Jim and Leslie are fantastic hosts, providing excellent recommendations for activities.

The Deluxe King Room was spacious and offered beautiful views of the mountains, making for a picturesque experience. The decorating style created a cozy vibe that increased our comfort level during the stay. The homemade breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring fresh local ingredients that made each meal delightful. I loved waking up to the lovely garden view outside my window, which added charm to the mornings.

The overall property could benefit from some updates for a more modern feel.

Our stay was truly delightful, especially with the homemade cookies and warm breakfasts made with farm-fresh eggs. We loved relaxing on the sun terrace and taking in the peaceful surroundings with a good book. The only thing was the internet could be a bit spotty at times, but that didn’t really dampen our experience! 😊
